Mastercard’s 212,000-square-foot New York tech hub reduces friction across an 11-story workplace. Separate arrival paths, intuitive security, adaptable engineering neighborhoods, and a hospitality-led customer experience make the vertical campus easier to navigate. Technology is pervasive but calibrated to support access, collaboration, and client engagement rather than compete for attention.

Clear Arrival Reduces Friction
Guests arrive on the 10th floor through digital reception, a coffee bar, barista service, and concierge-led tablet check-in framed by city views. Employees enter separately through biometric turnstiles, preserving security while reducing its visual weight. Client-facing floors emphasize partnership and global reach. The Customer Experience Center combines a technology bar with interactive product settings, and a flexible boardroom adapts through movable furniture, whiteboards, and audiovisual systems. The two arrival paths respond to different needs but maintain a coherent experience. By clarifying how guests and employees enter, orient, and access resources, IA made a complex vertical hub feel controlled, welcoming, and easy to use.

Technology Adapts to the Moment
Campaign walls, touchscreens, wireless sharing and charging, digital bulletin boards, and scheduling tools make information accessible throughout the hub. Engineering neighborhoods use retractable overhead screens for privacy, while reconfigurable furniture, quiet zones, meeting pavilions, and demountable rooms respond to changing teams. Bike storage, showers, inclusive restrooms, wellness and nursing rooms, game areas, and a rooftop terrace support the full day. A lounge and multipurpose room can divide into three settings or open for all-hands events. New York references and Mastercard’s palette create continuity across floors, while LEED and Fitwel pursuits connect everyday ease with measurable building and wellness performance.
